£25,000 Basic, £37,000 OTE. Based from Central Milton Keynes
Established over 20 years this provider of software and associated services enable companies to be more efficient and profitable. The solution is sold into Financial Directors and proprietors of smaller business and is ideal for SME's. This is an office based role based from Milton Keynes with face-to-face meetings and you remit will be to target companies with 25 to 500 employees across the Northern Home Counties and Midlands.
To date the business has grown through referrals and unbelievable account management (their annual account retention rate is an unbelievable 96%). With a successful platform in place they are now looking to double their turnover in 3 years by appointing their first dedicated Business Development Manager.
This is a highly autonomous sales role that is undoubtedly a challenge within a stable and cash-rich business. To apply to this role:
* You will have a loyal and stable career within B2B sales and ideally have experience of selling solutions to board/proprietor levels of SME's. The solution is low cost and based upon a monthly service charge.
* The ideal candidate will have sold something like financial software, recruitment services, payroll services, HR consultancy, legal services, factoring services, accountancy services, etc. and will have previous experience of selling to owner managers, Finance Directors, Personnel Managers or HR Directors.
* You will be seeking a highly autonomous role where you will be a member of the senior management team and be looking for a role where you can contribute towards the direction and development of an already highly successful business.
* You will be flexible, adaptable, willing to learn and willing to be 'hands on' in a small business and ready to undertake tasks that may not be on your 'job description'!
* You will be happy to put together your own sales strategy, sales structure, sales systems and processes and ideally have received solid sales training throughout your career.
* The company have 28 staff and over 600 clients and are recognised in their field for accuracy and terrific service, in the last 20 years they are able to count the accounts that they have lost to competitors on a single hand!
This is a new business development focused sales role based from the HQ in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. The company readily admit that they lack sales structure and therefore seek a proven sales professional with the experience and skills to set up CRM systems, model target clients, introduce sales processes and systems, develop marketing initiatives and marketing collateral, etc. Therefore this is a highly autonomous role that is likely to lead to sales management within 2 years. The best thing about this role is the ability to 'run your own business within a business' and the 'scalability'; your future success is very much based on your success and ability to build a solid sales team.
